All kennels are individually heated, well ventilated and have large secure covered runs which exceed the model license conditions. We are fully licensed by the local council and recommended by our local veterinary practices.

All of our boarders are walked regularly. They are all walked individually so ensuring our personal attention. We have lovely walks through our farm land and wood. We feel their walk is the most important part of their day helping to reduce stress

 

We have four blocks of kennels.
The Homestead houses 20 kennels, each having a heated inside sleeping area and individual outside covered run, and has the facilities for double occupancy for guests staying from the same home.
Brookside Wing has our 4 family units. These are oversize large kennels and runs, available to accommodate up to 4 dogs from the same home or any of the larger breeds of dog.
Lakeside wing has 8 kennels with a heated inside sleeping area and outside run.
Walnut tree wing has 8 kennels with a heated inside sleeping area and outside run.

Puppies and the older dog are more than welcome.
All dogs are fed twice daily. We try to keep to the same feeding regime they have at home. Most diets are catered for; we use many top brands of feed. Food is included in the price; you may wish to supply your own if preferred. A constant supply of fresh water is always available.

We supply all beds and bedding throughout the stay and we encourage you to bring your dogs favourite toy and blanket so that they can have the comfort and smell of their home and owner.

Special needs.

If your dog has any special needs please let us know at time of booking.
Maybe it’s just shy, nervous or elderly. We are here to spend that extra bit of time to slowly introduce them to their new surroundings.
Any treatment advised by your vet can be continued during your stay. Please give written details upon arrival and bring all medications with you.

Vet care

Should your dog require medical attention during their stay with us, vet care will be provided by Usk veterinary practice. If your dog or cat is registered with another surgery in the locality, we would be happy to take them there if you prefer.

Important note.

ALL GUESTS MUST HAVE A CURRENT VACCINATION CERTIFICATE WHICH MUST BE PRODUCED ON ARRIVAL INCLUDING KENNEL COUGH VACCINATION FOR DOGS.
